ColorOS 17 replaces OxygenOS
OnePlus is extending the Android 17 update to older devices. The stable release now covers the OnePlus 13, 13R, 13s, and 15R. This move marks a significant step in the company's long-term support strategy. It ensures users who bought these phones in previous years still receive the latest operating system features.

With this update, OnePlus replaces the OxygenOS interface with ColorOS 17. The change brings a revised interface, performance boosts, and a suite of AI-powered features. Notable additions include a redesigned quick settings and notifications panel. The update also delivers smoother animations and smarter memory management. Additionally, the changelog highlights AI tools designed to detect synthetic voices in suspicious calls and potential chip swaps in video calls.
The technical details of the builds vary by phone model. The OnePlus 13 receives build CPH2649_17.0.0.102(EX01). The OnePlus 13R gets CPH2691_17.0.0.105(EX01). For the OnePlus 13s, the build is CPH2723_17.0.0.101(EX01). The OnePlus 15R receives CPH2767_17.0.0.106(EX01). All these updates are distributed in batches. This means they do not necessarily reach all eligible devices at the same time.
Geographic rollout and availability
From a geographic perspective, India is the first region to receive these updates. Although the company has not yet confirmed an exact date for US users, the expansion in India suggests a broader launch is on the horizon. It is worth noting that OnePlus sold the 13, 13R, and 15R in the US market. However, the 13s was not sold there. This means only the first three devices will be eligible for the update in America.
